Hi Will, I just bought the cd - thanks for finally releasing this album on cd. Ps. I got some questions:
1. why was the dub copy and the extended mix of Adventures from the 12" vinyl recor not put on the cd album ?
2). The 12" vinyl states that the above track was written by Goldsmith/Palmer/Sting. But on this new album this is not stated - infact its not informed on where and which tracks Sting appears ? vocal / or bass. Please let me know.
Thanks for making this possibe, cheers and all the best, Kenneth

At last a crafted pop album with positive messages to the youth of today. Yes it is a bit 80's but what else is there to compare with it from the current output of music corporations.

This CD is the greatest find...I can finally replace my cassette!

Kenneth, I too am a fan of bonus tracks:

I once heard a stripped down version of "Adventures In Sucess" which I liked...It didn't have the beats, was less dancey and very simplistic...

I am curious how many alternative versions of these 9 tracks are out there and...are they some unreleased, undiscovered jewels in the vault somewhere!

It would be great providing a detail written synopsis regarding the events and inspirations that led to this uniquely awesome listening and visual experience!

Besides that I'm so glad this precious gem has finally made it's way to CD...

Thanks for the upgrade and it's great to find some information about "Dancing For Mental Health" on the web after all of these years!!!

I have waited long and patiently for this release on CD. My vinyl has long since worn to nothing and my attempts at burning it onto disc for my use have all ended miserably.

Thank you L.G. for this re-release.

Now - when is Part 2 coming out!??

Also, if you happen to need a photographer... haha

Derek B used the backbeat on "Bullet from a gun"(1989?) in "Success".

I saw "Adventures in Success" presented at the 9:30 Club in D.C in spring, 1984. (Was that Will Powers there then?) From that one exposure, the tune proceeded to bounce around my head for over 20 years! "Make it happen. Make it happen..." I think I'm more happening than I would have been, otherwise.
