CHANGE YOUR PATTERNS

It's time to take stock of where you've been and what you need to let go of in order to move with an open mind and heart into the future.  If you do not feel you're the person you want to be, then ask yourself: "What is my investment in staying the way I am if I'm not happy?" If you were to change, what's the worst thing that could happen?  Look in the mirror when you ask yourself these questions. Be honest.  There is no one who can stop you from being the person you want to be other than YOU. Do not tell yourself that you will "TRY" to change. Tell yourself you "WILL" change.  Be patient with yourself.  Love yourself.  Becoming the best you can be does not happen over night.  Enjoy the process.  Put yourself on the road to mental, physical and spiritual success NOW.

What have you repeatedly done in your life that's become a pattern of behavior for you?  What actions do you take that are not getting you the results you say you want?  Do those 'unconscious' actions validate who you think you are instead of who you want to be?  Is that your investment in repeating them?  Do you choose to love only people who are not ready in their lives to accept your love?  Do you do this because your childhood history was one which led you to believe no one could ever really love you or that no matter what you did or did not do, you would be left by the one you love?

The experiences we have that validate how we see ourselves can be a trap.  For example, if you continue in certain behaviors like working without time boundaries because of the monetary rewards it may bring,  please keep in mind what Forest Gump's mother told him;
"There's only so much money a man needs, the rest is for showin' off."

It takes  a brave person to change old behaviors, especially when  on the surface it can appear everything in your life is just fine. Your inner voice will tell you when the path you are on needs to change.  Trust it.  If you cannot hear that voice, you might have to find a quiet space where you can clear your mind in order to listen to it.

 "Success is not a place at which one arrives but rather the spirit with which one undertakes and continues the journey." - Alex Noble
